About Me
44 years old, experienced independent midwife offers her support with babysitting for children of all ages in the comfort of their own home.
Since my own children are adults (20+21), I really enjoy spending time with younger children. I feel too young for being a granny yet, but too old for starting all over again with another baby of my own.
I’m non smoking, pet friendly and I have my own car. Since I’m independent, I can be very flexible.

Madeline came to look after my 6 month old for a few hours while I caught up on some DIY. He’s my first and I’ve not left him with anyone before so wasn’t sure how it would go.
Madeline put me at ease straight away and my son was drawn to her immediately! She played with him and even got him to have a nap which I was very impressed with as she did it with no fuss and it’s often a palaver for us (the sign of a real expert!)
She was so respectful of how I wanted things done too which was really nice! I will 100% be asking her around again!

Madeline made contact with us after we put a request in online for a childminder. We had never asked for child care outside of family members and were a little nervous to have a ‘stranger’ take care of our little boy. However we shouldn’t have worried. Madeline arranged to come for a meeting and immediately our son was showing her his toys and wanting to play. We entrusted Madeline to look after our boy overnight whilst we enjoyed our wedding day and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly. We felt like we were leaving him with someone we knew and everything was just so laid back and easy.

We were visiting Liverpool for a weekend. Madeline came to our hotel to watch Evan while we went to a football match. Evan had the best time with Madeline. Madeline was so thoughtful and communicative and clearly enjoys spending time with kids. Would not hesitate to book her again the next time we are in Liverpool!

Madeline is amazing with our two kids (<1 year and 2.5 years). Our eldest loves spending time with her and is excited for her visit every time. She is pro-active, independent, reliable and overall just a lovely person. Cannot recommend her enough!

Madeline babysat my 3 year old and my 8 month old baby, my youngest is not good with faces he doesn’t know, straight away cries when around people he doesn’t know.. my nerves were gone leaving my kids with a babysitter for the first time but honestly my kids BOTH loved her!!! My youngest didn’t cry what so ever and was so comfortable and happy around her which is amazing as it’s no like him at all!!!
Madeline texted me picture updates showing me how happy the kids were and also a picture of my youngest fast asleep!! This seriously reassured me and I most definitely will be using Madeline in the future
She made my kids so happy and the minute my eldest who is 3 woke up she was asking me can Madeline come again and she loved her!
Also Madeline is very professional, polite, and has lovely energy!

Madeline came in at short notice and built rapport with the kids immediately!
There was no fuss, no issues, just a straightforward fantastic experience. The interaction right up to the babysitting session, was great.
I came back and the kids were soundly in bed. I was so grateful.
She was reassuring and got on with the kids so well.

Madelaine has babysat for my children who are 7, 4 and 1 a few times now. She is very natural with children and the last time that she babysat for us, she had my 7 year old and my 4 year old howling with laughter within minutes of arriving. Madelaine has a great sense of humour and is clearly very experienced with children. Very reliable, would thoroughly recommend. Anna.

Madeleine looked after my 6 year daughter and 7 year old son whilst we were able to enjoy a rare evening out together. We were apprehensive to use a minder at first but need not have worried as Madeleine is wonderful. Both of my children love her and referred to her as “kind and fun”. We now hope to keep hold of her for regular nights out. I would totally recommend her 100% 😊
