Hello my name is Billy
I am 24 years old and have lived in Edinburgh all my life. I’m a reliable young man who is never late, loves a challenge, likes to keep as busy as possible and is amazing with children.
In another life I would be a sportsman because I love my game during the summer I play lawn bowls.
When the season ends like to fill my time by playing pool and watching movies/tv shows
I am also a man who loves his job I started working with children in after school care and holiday club settings, from there I moved into early learning/childcare and have spent 5 years working as a nursery practitioner in a private nursery

I have been working In childcare for 6 years and have experience working with children age 6 months to 12 years in nursery, after school care and holiday club settings
My Qualifications
I spent 10 months as modern apprentice whilst working towards my SVQ level 3 in early years
My Availability
I am available on a Saturday Sunday full days
During the week I work till 6pm and would be available in the evenings with day time availability 1 variable day per week between Monday-Friday (this currently tends to be a Friday or Monday)

I needed a childminder for my wedding and had a complicated request - needed him in marquee then watching kids at their cabins, plus the location was tricky. Billy was great - the kids had a great time, all went without a hitch, and Billy's communication with me was excellent. Highly recommend.

Hired on a weekly basis for Tuesday nights for 6 months, hasn't missed one.
Adapted to my kid's moods and Oscar was always in bed when I came back :)

Billy is a great babysitter he is reliable and kind and always asks a bout my sons routine and what his needs are. My son loves to have Billy as a babysitter as he actively engages in his play and is also able to hold boundaries such as around creating the right tone and environment for sleep and bedtime it is always a pleasure to have Billy in our home

Billy picked up our boys regularly after school this term. Our boys immediately took to him and clearly had a lot of fun with him. He also is very reliable and gave ample notice when he could not make it.
