About Me
My name is Angela Smith and I am a Outstanding Ofsted registered Childminder in the ME15 area of Maidstone and my business name is Shooting Stars childcare Maidstone. I have two children of my own and we enjoy an active lifestyle.
I gained Ofsted outstanding in 2015 and again in 2020. I work along side a co minder that is also graded Outstanding by Ofsted.
I have 14 years experience with working with different age range children in a home based setting.
The qualifications I have are

Delivering The Early years Foundation
I offer a friendly flexible home based setting with an enriched environment for the children to learn and develop.
I have a Large garden with a large range of toys the children love to spend time in and I also use the garden to grow some fruits and vegetables in the summer months and the children help with this.
As a childminder we have the flexibility to go out for the day and enjoy the world around use. We visit parks, farms, zoo, beach, cinema, educational sites and organise a range of activities away from the setting. I have arranged to visit the fire station, police station and RNLI station to widen the knowledge of the emergency services.
I have my own car and Collect from Madginford Park school and parkway schools .
I collect from nurseries in the Bearsted area. I will also pick up from other nurseries.
I can offer free for two and three and four year early education funding up to 30 hours a week with in the setting. Flexible contracts and wrap around care can be offered with funded hours. Please contact me to discuse your needs and how to recieve free childcare.
My Experience
I have two children of my own and have a wide age range of children in my setting from 3 months to 11 years.
I have NVQ level 3 in childcare and attend lots of training courses to extend my knowledge and understnading of the children in my care.
