About Me
Hello, I’m Jeannine, a fully qualified childminder working from my home in Chertsey. I am a 37 year old mum of 2, one girl aged 5 and one boy aged 3. We live in a 5 bedroom house (together with my husband), which consists of a large playroom and garden for the children to enjoy. As well as some quiet areas dedicated to nap time and quieter activities. The children in my care will enjoy a range of activities to aid their learning and development all in line with the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’. I believe that children learn best through play and having fun, and therefore plan each day to ensure that your child will have the best day, as well as learning lots along the way! I plan lots of days out through the week and usually go somewhere different each day, whether that be a park, exploring the woods, puddle jumping, the library, feeding the ducks, picnics, nature trails etc, your little one will have a different adventure each day! I am also a member of RHS Garden Wisley so we go there regularly too. Indoor activities are endless and include, role play, arts and crafts, baking, story time, dancing and music. I support FEET and funded childcare hours for 2 and 3 year olds, as well as tax free childcare. I also have experienced with children with additional needs.
My Experience
As well as being a mummy to 2 wonderful young children, I have been working in education for the past 13 years, including working for an independent school as well as a College. I have experience with newborn through to age 16. Please see my qualifications below for details of my skills and training.

My daughter is 2 and has been with Jeannine for over a year. I am so pleased with how well she is playing, learning and developing there. It is a fantastic setting with lots of space, lovely variety of toys and a big garden. Jeannine does brilliant activities with the children including crafts, baking, trips to library, parks, Wisley Gardens and special parties for their birthdays and holidays. Plus lovely home cooked bread and food.
Jeannine is easy to talk to and has gone above and beyond also making my older son feel welcome when he comes to collect his sister.
I would highly recommend Jeannine as a childminder.

Bianca, my daughter had been with Jeannine for four months and she loved to be with her and other kids. I was happy every time to see my daughter happy. She is an excellent childminder, with patience, calmly and as I ve seen she loves kids.
It was a real pleasure to take Bianca every time at her home and I was sure she will be on the good hands and be cared with love .

My daughter has been with Jeannine for around 2 weeks now. I don’t normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so.
In that time, my little one of 15 months has transformed. I used to send her to nursery but like most children this age, she hated the lack of one on one time. Jeannine has transformed my girl from not sleeping or eating and crying every time I picked her up and back to the smiling, happy little one we know she is.
Already Jeannine has taken her to Wisley, the museum and the library (not to mention the parks!). Plus, with all the space she has and all the activities available to my daughter, when it is wet, there’s so much for her to do at Jeannine’s place. I couldn’t be happier. So much so that I will be extending my hours with her so that my daughter gets even more benefit.
My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with Jeannine. We feel extremely lucky to have her as we know how extremely tough it is to find the right childminder.
