About Me
I live in the Mt Pleasant area of Rogerstone. My assistant and I provide full and part time childcare. I currently drop off/pick up from Mt Pleasant and Rogerstone Primary school and local Playgroup's. I have been a registered childminder for 30 years, providing childcare with the comfort of home. My home is well equiped to meet the developmental and recreational needs of the children in my care. I provide for a variety of play and craft activities as well as opportunity just to relax and have down time; perhaps having a "cinema" time in on rainy days (popcorn provided!). We visit local amenities, go out and about on walks, to local parks and further afield on day trips.
My Experience
I have experience not only as a mum of 4 grown up children, but have also worked in a playgroup setting and have previously volunteered as a brownie leader for a number of years. I have recently completed Level 3 Diploma for Children's Care, learning and Development.
My Qualifications
GCSE's, A levels and City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Children's Care, Learning and Development Paediatric First Aid and Food Safety, Safeguarding.
My Availability
Drop off/Pick up from Mt Pleasant Primary/Nursery and Full/Part time childcare. I also local cover other local playgroups/Nursery's.
