Hi, my name is Amarah, Early years educator and an Ofsted registered Childminder at Learn and Grow Childcare Ltd. Also the founder and owner of Learn and Grow Childcare. Sister company (Guide & Grow Daycare Inc in Canada).
Work experience:
I previously worked as a nursery nurse for over 9 years and I have ample experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, children with allergies or dietary needs and children with special educational needs.
Curriculum:
I provide full care along with fun and engaging activities that are designed to help children enjoy their STEM or also known as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) learning through play. We cover all areas of the EYFS and we also teach extra subjects such as languages (Cantonese, Arabic & French). We teach the children good manners & etiquette in our childcare setting to help children make a difference to this world!
Setting environment:
The setting contains learning resources, toys and lots of fun activities to enable a learning and safe environment for children. In 2022 we have built a Brand new modern playroom and an open space for children to have the experience of both Nursery and Home based setting.
What's our goal? :
The aim is to help and support children to learn through play and build their self-esteem while they are learning to help the little ones grow into positive, independent and intellectual big people.
We provide a unique blend of Curriculum (EYFS + STEAM) along with overall care for each child.
We work hard every day , focusing on the needs of each child and to help the children reach their full potential.
Our main language at setting : British English
We do encourage parents to speak in their native language at home as the children have been proven to learn English from scratch when joined the setting and reached to reading level when left for reception year/primary school (depending on how long they have stayed with us).
Meals:
We provide healthy & nutritional home cooked meals from diverse cultures, this gives the children the opportunity to learn more about different countries/cultures and also develop their taste buds.
Healthy snacks provided throughout the day and milk (cow or oat). All for just £2 per day! We consider each families dietary needs with care and quality.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
MON-FRIDAY £6.50 PER HOUR BETWEEN 8AM - 5PM, AFTER 5PM £8.50
Includes nappies, wipes, sunscreen, nappy rash cream & meals.

I only have good things to say about Learn and Grow! This was the first nursery setting my son has been in and it being the first time, I was a bit nervous on how he would adjust but Amarah has gone above and beyond to make sure my son is well taken care of and made sure he had settled in well. He is so excited to go to school and I can already see all the new things he's learning. He is such a social child and its amazing to know Learn and Grow provides the space for him to be himself and discover and learn new things! I would recommend Learn and Grow above and beyond! If you're looking for a place and staff invested in seeing your child grow and thrive then this is the place for you!

I cannot recommend learn and grow childcare enough, if you’re looking for genuine, kind, soft and caring childminders then this is the place for you. I was so worried about leaving my daughter with anyone, but I’m so happy to know she’s in good safe hands. My daughter comes out at pick up with a smile on her face all the time. It’s a relaxed environment with a warm and homely feel to it. They also make a lot of effort in their activities with the children. Just perfect for us.

It’s going to be 2 months soon that my 11 month old started going to Amarah. He was 9 months when he started and i was quite worried, like any mother would, on how well my son would adjust to new place and people.
I can say that Amarah takes very good care of him and he adjusted quickly with Amarah. She ensured that he was held close and taken care of just as i would, which gives me immense relief as a mother. Now, i am worry-free knowing that my son is well looked after.
I am looking forward to seeing my son learn and grow in her setting.

My daughter has been with learn and grow and amarah for over a year and her progress with them has been amazing shes always coming home with new words amd new skills learnt there. Shes also progressed well with her eating she used to be pretty fussy but now tries so many interesting foods with them.
Shes always excited in the morning to go i highly recommend

My daughter has been attending Learn and Grow Childcare for over a year now, first full time and more recently after school hours since she started Reception Year in the school. We couldn't be happier with Amarah, my daughter enjoyed her days there and even most important Amarah helped to socialize with other kids when she struggled with it after the isolation of the Pandemic making possible a very smooth transition to the school.

After 2 years of attending childcare with Learn and Grow my daughter said goodbye on Friday. As a parent it’s the best choice we made enrolling our daughter into Learn and Grow. Seeing my daughter develop so much over the past 2 years I can honestly say Amarah and Mona have done a fantastic job. The facilities are brilliant along with the variety of food choices daily my daughter will surely miss the setting and childminders. I can honestly say our experience has been brilliant so accommodating on short notice, attention to detail treating the children like there own. I can’t recommend Learn and Grow enough keep up the good work and hopefully see you guys soon with our next child!! #bestchildmindersinreading

Amarah is genuinely such an amazing childminder, you can see that she genuinely cares about the children that she looks after. My little one loves her time with amarah and the other children and has flourished under her care. We could not be happier!

An excellent, caring and professional childminder, Amarah’s home has become a home from home for our 20month old son, who has come leaps and bounds in his development too. I’m really impressed by the way Amarah interacts with the children, and the activities she provides which are both educational and fun. We’re really lucky to have found her!

Amarah continues to impress, the thought, planning, effort and care she puts in really results in a first a first class service.
My 3 year old gets so much enjoyment out of the setting and
My 8 month old has transitioned well no doubt this is because of the care and hard work of Amarah.
It is clear Amarah has an abundance of experience and really enjoys working with children. I have been extremely impressed with additional educational activities provided to my children including indoor, outdoor and trips out in the local community. Alongside the wonderful choice of meals/snacks which are varied, home cooked and nutritious.
Amarah's communication and support is excellent and she shows a high level of professionalism. It's great that she keeps me regularly updated with what the children have been doing.
Amarah is a kind and genuine person, who really embraces children into her setting and family. If you want a home from home, fun filled, safe and stimulating environment I highly recommend Amarah- you'd be lucky to have her!
