About Me
Hello, welcome to Branches Out Forest School Kindergarten. My name is Kate and I am a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader, recently relocated to a 17 acre farm in Clearwell. I love adventuring and spending time outdoors, and have a background in outdoor education. I care for my own 2 year old alongside other children in this nature paradise. On the farm we have chickens, a gentle stream, 3 ponds, a gentle collie dog, fruit trees and much more. We will be based in a bell tent and have a forest area that we will use for daily forest school. We will also enjoy visiting the animals and exploring the rest of the farm. We will be outdoors for the majority of our days and also incorporate daily reading, music, role play, arts and crafts and more.
In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, walks on the beach and spending time with family. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
My Experience
I am an experienced Forest School Leader, having previously worked as an Outdoor Learning Ambassador in a Nursery, and now running my own Forest School CIC. I have also worked in a Self Directed Learning Forest School setting where I was trained in the unconditional love approach. Before this, I coached rock climbing, high ropes and other activity sessions to a variety of ages and groups.
Our daily activities will include bug hunting, tree climbing, bird watching, puddle splashing, den making, mud painting, music creating, book reading, tasty baking and much much more. I promise there will be no stone left unturned on our path - we love to spend as much time as possible outside exploring our world.
We do not have our own dog but my mums very friendly collie lives on the same property so you would need to be comfortable with this.

My Availability
I have space for children age 2+. I have space on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30am-4:30pm.
I will be also be running Forest School holiday clubs during the school holidays for children age 5-11, and I am available for after school care from Clearwell Primary School for wrap around care for older children too. Anything is up for discussion so please get in touch to chat about your needs!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£60 day rate for childminding age 2-5 weekdays from 8:30-4:30. Food and nappies included.
£7.50 per hour for after school care age 5-11. £35 per day for holiday clubs from 9:30-3:30 subject to funding and availability on the website.
School holiday cover may be available, rate to be arranged in advance.
£15.00 per hour for babysitting, evenings and weekends available.
