About Me
Hello!
My name is Donna and I am an experienced childminder who has been caring for children of various ages since February 2000. I was rated 'Good' during my previous Ofsted inspection in January 2019. I offer a caring, friendly and a warm environment for your child/children to grow and develop new skills and confidence in themselves, as well as learn to communicate with children of all ages. I offer a range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, for example, your child/children will be taken out to various places such as parks, playgroups and shops; regardless of the weather, I ensure that your child will be entertained. Any expenses come out of the hourly rate, so there's no need to worry about extra expenses. I own a dog (a miniature Jack Russell) who is very friendly and loves to interact with everyone and is very good with children.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for around 20 years, looking after children of all ages, as young as 6 months to 12 years old.
My Qualifications
I have completed courses in first aid, safeguarding children and basic food and hygiene.

Donna has looked after our one year old son for almost 9 months now and we would happily recommend her as a childminder.
Donna is very experienced in taking care of children. She arranges lots of activities to do at her home, including artwork, crafts, gardening, cooking, counting, learning colours and outdoor play. There are lots of toys to play with, inside and outside. Donna regularly visits local woods, parks, aquariums and small softplay areas. Donna sends photos and videos throughout the day so we can see what our son is doing. She has also worked with us on our son's development, reinforcing good behaviour and giving us advice. Donna has been very flexible and helpful on timings when life events interrupt.
Our son loves going to Donna's house and playing with the other children in her care. It has given him confidence and allowed him to socialise with other children. We are very happy with the care our son has received from Donna and recommend her as a childminder.
