About Me
An international student from Spain studying BSc Criminology and
Psychology. I consider myself a very open-minded and brave person,
I am also an extrovert so I love working with people and interacting
with them. Both my parents work with children, which made me really appreciate the importance of caring for kids' development and needs, as well as being one of the reasons of why I love being around children and spending time with them.
I love learning new stuff and using them to help other
people. These last years I have become more independent and
mature, which has made me a very organised and hard-working
individual. I am very proud of my achievements in life but I think
that there is always room for improvement and that is why I am
looking for a part-time job that I can combine with my studies. My first language is Spanish so I would be more than happy to teach or speak Spanish while I work as a babysitter.
My Experience
During my last year of high school I used to work as an English tutor
for little kids in my hometown in Spain. This job gave me teaching
skills and experience with kids. My key responsibilities were picking
the kids up after school or after after-school activities, feeding them,
helping them with their English assignments or teaching them
English, which I would always try to make dynamic and fun. There
were sometimes where I worked as a nanny too, however tutoring
was my principal job.
My Qualifications
did a year abroad in the USA which made me grow as a person and also helped me to develop my English skills. I have a younger brother, who I love, so I have always had to take care of him which means now I am very good with little kids and I love being around them. I also speak Spanish since is my first language. I also finished my A Levels equivalent when I went back to Spain. At the time I am a university student about to finish my Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology. In the future, I plan to specialize in Clinical and Developmental Psychology.
