I am a 54 year old mother of two and a grandmother of four aged between 1 and 10 years. I have babysitting, parenting, grandparenting, newborn, twins experience and nannying experience as well as over 12 years experience in the Health and Social Care sector.
I have successfully gained:
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare.
Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate dated: 17th August 2024. Valid for three years. Certificate meets the full EYFS/DfE and Ofsted criteria for Early Years.
TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability.
I have a valid Enhanced DBS check certificate issued in 2024.
In addition, I have many skills which are transferable and continuing to learn new skills and gain further knowledge and qualifications in childcare such as:
Open Learn Statement of participation in Physical and mental health for young children.
I am a hard-working, creative and mature person who loves spending time with my family, especially my amazing grandchildren who are fun to be around. I love watching them grow and develop into their own individual self. I thoroughly enjoy my current role as an after school nanny to a wonderful 7 year old. Being able to make a difference to a family's life is a reward in itself.
My Experience
I have been a mother for 33+ years to two children and am a grandparent to four amazing grandchildren, aged between 1 and 10 years. I love my family and cherish them with all my heart. I understand family life yet understand parents may want and/or need to work as well as deserve some me time or couple time.

I am a non-driver so my travel expenses is to be covered by the job if the time of finishing is beyond 21:00. So, a paid taxi home will be required if distance would require public transport.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.35 per hour (gross)
