About Me
I am a positive and caring mum of a happy and energetic daughter. We live in a great location in Tunbridge Wells close to several local parks. I live with my Fiancé Ludo and daughter Hazel (born in 2020). We also have our gorgeous dog Lyra (born 2022) who is a very affectionate German Sheppard who has grown up with my daughter and is incredibly sweet natured and well trained.
My Experience
I have been working with children for over 15 years. I started out working in a nursery caring for children aged 2-5 years old and then became a teaching assistant in a local primary school where I worked as a TA for 3 years while I completed my teacher training. I have worked 8 years as a qualified teacher in KS1 and 11 years within the same school. I have loved my time teaching, however now with my daughter starting school I felt it was time for a change. I have always loved working with children and have a real passion for ensuring the children in my care are happy, well cared for and enjoy activities rich in new learning experiences. I feel my experience in teaching gives me a great foundation for providing well planned and fun activities for children and I am excited to share with them how fun learning can be.

My Availability
Sandy’s Childminding is open from 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, during the school terms. We will be closed all public and bank holidays.
