About Me
Hello and welcome to my profile. I've always thought ages to be not something to be judged by, which is probably because I swing between 11 & 48 seamlessly. First & foremost, I LOVE working with children. I think children should be treated as individuals each with their own learning styles. They should be listened to & more importantly feel that they are being heard.
A little bit about me - I have two grown children, a step son aged 6 & i became the guardian of my 5 nieces and nephews after my sister sadly died in 2010. I can honestly say that bringing them up we're some of the best years of my life.
I have been a Homestart volunteer supporting families in need, a childminder, an SEN Teaching assistant specialising in Autism, a Citizen Advocate providing help to vulnerable people to access services and I have run my own bars which as you can imagine gives me its own unique experience and skills!
I also studied Forest Therapy and Forest Bathing & love the outdoors nearly as much as Lego.
I am passionate about CPD & will gladly access further training & resources to help aid your child.
