About Me
Hello my name is Brenda. I am a Ofsted registered childminder with over 13 years of experience. I am also a qualified play therapist. I believe is very important that a child feels emotionally safe, loved, have fun and interacts with other children to develop their social and emotional skills so he/she can thrive in life. I am passionate about child development and giving children the best possible early life experience and encouraging them to be themselves.
I live in a four-bedroom terrace house with a nice garden, opposite Homefields Recreation Grounds in Chiswick, with my husband, my two children and my dog.
My Experience
I am Ofsted registered, I hold a Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection Certificates as well as updated DBS checks. Registered Play Therapist
My Qualifications
I have 14 years of experience as Childminder - I hold a Childcare Diploma and NVQ Level 3 and 4 in Childcare and I speak Spanish and English. I am also a Certified Play Therapist

Our daughter was with Brenda for 2.5 years and we cannot recommend her highly enough! She had the most amazing time, loved being with Brenda and always looked forward to the day.
Brenda is incredibly kind, caring and attentive, and always made sure the children with her were happy and well-cared for. Their days are full of varied and imaginative activities, both indoor and outdoor play, and always fun and developmental. Her home-cooked food is nutritious and delicious, introducing the children to different flavours and leaving them full and content!
We would highly recommend Brenda to anyone looking for a caring and nurturing childcare specialist. She is a unique person that made our daughter feel loved and confident, and we are so very thankful for her!

Our daughter went to Brenda a day a week from about 8 months old. Brenda instantly made us feel relaxed about leaving her there, she looks after the children with so much love and care. Brenda’s approach is fun but developmental, we’ve seen her play games but also teach her important skills, for example turning round to climb off things safely. We love Brenda and couldn’t recommend her enough.

Brenda looked after my daughter from 8 months old till she started pre-school. She is an incredibly dedicated person and an absolutely brilliant childminder. My daughter bonded so well with her, that it was a joy for her to go to her house. Her experience as a play therapist translates on her focus on the emotional wellbeing of the children she looks after, which is so fundamental for their healthy development.
She plans lots of activities at home and in the nearby parks and provides healthy and varied home cooked meals.
I can't recommend Brenda enough, she is absolutely the best.

My daughter has been with Brenda from more than 2 years now and she absolutely love being looked after by her. I have never met someone as lovely as Brenda and I can honestly say she is the best.
My daughter is always happy and excited to be spending the day with her. Brenda provides a very caring, supportive and fun environment. My daughter has a wide variety of activities during the day including plenty of time outside, and the food she provide is very healthy and varied, two essential aspects for me.
I highly recommend her for anyone looking for top quality, reliable, caring childminding in the Chiswick area.
She is one of a kind.
