About Me
Hi my name is Janis, I have been a child care provider since 2005. I have 5 children & two granddaughters, we have two cats & two rabbits. I have lived in Marple Bridge for 20+ years. I have assistants working with me.
My Childminding setting, is where learning is fun. A home from home environment, we have a secure outdoor cabin in a large welcoming garden with wooden play equipment, along with many home comforts, piano, pets, arts & crafts. baking & more. We have many outings exploring our local environments which are on our door step, Etherow Country Park is in walking distance and also the addition of Forest school on a Thursday & Spanish Lessons on a Tuesday. This setting is open all year round (with the exception of bank holidays & holidays).
I have the relevant childcare qualifications and a vast knowledge of working with babies & children.
My Experience
The experience I have is bringing up my own 5 children, registering as a Ofsted Childminder in Oct 2005 with an assistant working with me. I then opened Jubilee Childcare Pre-school in 2014. I have supported families under social care. I attend and keep up to date with relevant Childcare information and training.
My Qualifications
-Level 3 NVQ City & Guilds in Childrens Care, Lea6 & Development .
-CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Chil6 Prac5.
-Paediartic First Aid.
-Cert Designated Safeguarding Lead
-Level 2 Food Hygiene
