About Me
My name is Lucy and I live in Bishops Stortford with my husband and 4 year old son. I am Ofsted Registered and a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator and Early Years SENCO.
I decided to become a childminder because I feel passionately that children thrive in home based childcare, where their needs and interests can be individually nurtured with truly personalised care. I believe that children learn best when their interactions with adults are meaningful and built on a foundation of trust and understanding. We spend as much time as possible outside in our local nature reserve and woodland, so splashsuits and wellies are a must!
I specialise in teaching children under 5 and am currently only accepting children within this age range. I only care for three children at any one time (including my own son), meaning that the care and teaching I provide is truly individual to each child
My fee includes all snacks and meals (with pudding), cows milk (for children over 1) and a detailed weekly Focus Sheet with photos, Next Steps and Development Trackers for your child from their time with me
