Permanent Placement Full-time Live-out Nanny Housekeeper
Area: West Maidenhead, SL6
Role: Nanny Housekeeper
Days/Hours: Approx. 30-40 hours / 5 days per week
Children: 4 year old girl + newborn baby (due end of Dec)
Ideal start date: Feb 2025

Days and hours:

Option 1: (35-40 hours per week)
Mon-Fri from 7:30-9:30am
Mon-Fri from 3-8pm

Option 2: (25-35 hours per week)
Mon-Fri from 3-8pm (25 hours per week)
Additional support from Mon-Fri 7:30am-9:30am one week per month (when husband is travelling)

Opportunity to increase hours during school holidays for both options
Adhoc babysitting available if desired

Description:

We are looking for an organised, proactive and experienced nanny/housekeeper, to provide childcare and household support while seamlessly integrating into our daily routine.

We are preparing to welcome our second child, due on December 31, so ideally would like someone who has newborn experience, and understands the unique challenges of supporting a growing family during this transition.

Key duties will include planning and engaging the children in fun activities, assisting our older child with school homework, preparing meals, and performing light household tasks. While the primary focus will be on our children, some light housekeeping will also be required.

Essentially, the most important thing is that the children feel that they have enough focus and time spent with them doing things they love.

Our household includes a 4-year-old attending school, while my husband works late hours from home and frequently travels for his global role. I will be home initially, and plan to return to work when our baby is around 9-12 months old.

Key Duties:
Childcare - supporting with all care duties for both children
Engage in activities and supervise the childrens’ daily routines, including homework, learning and play
Supervising bed and bath routines
Housework & tidying as required (have a weekly housekeeper)
Meal prep and cooking healthy, nutritious meals for the family/ children
Collection from school (as required)
Laundry
Running errands (as required)

Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrated experience of working with children from newborn to age 5
Trustworthy and able to integrate into the family and build a relationship with the children
Flexible to work as part of the household
Self-starter with proactive attitude - able to follow instructions as well as act on own initiative
Warm, fun, kind and engaging
Comfortable working in partnership with both parents.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a nanny / nanny housekeeper.
Ability to cook healthy meals for the family.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities to manage household tasks efficiently
Good timekeeping
Enhanced DBS
Checkable reference
First aid certified
Full clean driver's license
