Mum to a 14yr old girl - experiencing her growth & all the stages has enabled me to obtain an in-depth understanding into Caring for children, the patience required & how rewarding it can be. I care for a lot of the children in my family ranging from ages 6months -18yrs old.
I studied criminology at university as I’ve always had an interest in human behaviours. I’ve created behaviour management strategies for schools by observing children: identifying their triggers & working with teachers to understand how best to engage the child.
I have assisted my family with caring for my Autistic cousin all my life.
6years experience in pupil referral units, mainstream schools and behavioural units. This role required me to work with a group of children with a lot of needs, demands, understanding & boundaries.
