My Experience

I worked in a nursery for 2 years as a nursery assistant during my time within the nursery My role and responsibilities as a nursery assistant were to supervise the children within the facility as well as during outdoor playtime and field trips, assisting children in their activities, including educational and artistic projects, supervising and assisting children during meals and snacks, assisting with hygiene and, in the case of younger or special needs children, changing nappies or assisting with using the toilet, paying attention to a child's emotional state and development, reporting concerns to a supervisor, organizing activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests, develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime, keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests. I have also done a lot of baby sitting for family and friends over the past couple of years i have looked after children of all different ages these range from newborn- 13 years old.

My Qualifications

During my time as a nursery assistant i have received following qualifications:
-Food Safety and Hygiene, Level 2,
-Signing for early years practitioner, I have completed a 2 hour workshop exploring 50+ more BSL signs and how to sign a story,
-Getting to grips with the EYFS 2017- level 2,
-Pediatric First Aid level 3,
-The prevent duty in an early years environment level 2,
-Promoting positive behavior level 2,
-Safeguarding Children,
-Working with babies and toddlers,
-I have completed a Herts for learning professional development course for working with babies and toddlers.
-Level 2 Award in employment responsibilities and rights in health, social care or children and young people`s settings,
-Level 2 certificate for the children and young people`s workforce,

My Availability

I am able to work around the hours you would need a nanny/ babysitter for.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

My fees are negotiable depending on the hours you would like me to work as well as the location and days, we can discuss this upon meeting.
