About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Romford, Essex. I offer a service to other parents who would like their children to be cared for in a safe and comfortable environment. After using a childminder with my daughter, I realised how much childminders offer to working parents and decided that I would love the opportunity to look after children.
As a mum of two, I understand what it is to find a good quality and reliable childcare. It is therefore my aim to provide a caring and stimulating “Home from Home” environment in which your child can grow as an individual. I am committed of getting the best out of all the children, by responding to their individual needs and building their self-confidence.
My setting offers care and education for children of all ages. Children who come to my setting are welcomed into a family atmosphere where they will be loved and cared for. Children will have many opportunities to play, create, learn, have fun and have clear routines and boundaries. Everyday activities such as: Play dough, finger painting, colouring, board games, books and creative artwork which children really enjoy and also learn new things whilst playing.
I will be taking children to places of interest in the community to enhance their development and learning; eg. local parks, playgroups, forests, libraries, kidspace, bowling, zoos etc.
Because I have my own family, my home and garden are a safe and happy place to suit the needs of little people. I have dedicated playroom with a range of age appropriate toys, together with a large garden complete with a selection of garden toys and swings for that much needed outdoor play. This is a non-smoking house.
I believe that parents are the first most important educators of their children and I am here to support your work with your child, working in partnership. I implement the Early Years Foundation Stage.
My Experience
My current life experience are my lovely two children, but previously I have worked as a nanny. I have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Development. I have completed courses in First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Food Safety and Hygiene for early years settings. I am Ofsted registered childminder.
My Qualifications
I have Level 3 in Homebased childcare, Paediatric First aid trained and Food Safety and Hygiene for early year settings.
Our setting has been awarded a 5-star rating in Food Safety and Hygiene (August 2022)

I am a mother of two children, girl age 8 years old and a boy age 4.
I am Ofsted registered. Both me and my partner hold a clear DBS check.
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday 7:30am- 6.00pm both term time and throughout school holidays.
We drop off and collect at the Mawney Foundation School in Romford.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.19 per hour
£325 per week (all inclusive, breakfast, lunch, dinner and two healthy snacks)
£65 per day
£25 before and after school care (breakfast and dinner included)
£20 after school care only (dinner and snack included)
Please note that all food is freshly home cooked.

Three days per week is my minimum full day contract. I do not take children for less than three days per week.

Although my 5 year old son stayed with Monika for only a short time, around 2-3 months or so, he really felt like part of the family. Monika and Beata are full of joy and my son had so much while he stayed with them. He integrated into the existing group of children very well and I felt he was safe, happy and in good hands the whole time he was there, nothing was ever too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Monika to anyone needing childcare in the Romford area.

Highly recommend Happy Childcare. My boy love this place ❤️ every day there is a difference activities, playing outdoor and indoor. Always when I pick up him I can see a huge smile on his face which makes me sure he’s safe. Couldn’t imagine better place for him. Thank you Monika and Beata ❤️❤️❤️
