About Me
As a passionate tutor, my main ambition is to see children making rapid progress and to watch their confidence soar as they begin to see themselves in a new light.
I am a qualified teacher/tutor and Special Educational Needs Coordinator with over 30 years experience in primary schools. I have an excellent track record for boosting achievement and enjoy working with students of all abilities. I have a B.Ed Hons. with French degree and I hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination. I also hold a Level 2 Understanding Autism Certificate and I am qualified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
I offer online tuition using Zoom which is fun, interactive and an efficient way to learn. Please ask to join my waiting list for afternoon or evening lessons.
The cost of my lessons reflects the work that goes into them. Planning and resourcing lessons often takes longer than the lesson itself due to the bespoke nature of each session.
I cater for a wide range of needs, from those who are struggling to thrive in school to children who are working at greater depth and those studying for SATs, 11+ or Entrance Exams. I work closely with parents and I'm happy to offer advice and guidance on educational matters.
My Experience
I have worked in education for over 30 years as a teacher, tutor, Senior Leader and SENCo. I have an excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum. I specialise in creating an individual curriculum to meet the child’s needs. I also assist children who are preparing for SATs, 11+ or Entrance Exams.
My Qualifications
I have a B.Ed (Hons) with French degree, the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination, Level 3 in Understanding Autism and I hold a Youth Mental Health First Aid Certificate.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday during the day and early evening.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £60.00 per hour
I charge £45 for 30 mins, £60 for 45 mins and £75 per hour.
