About Me
My name is Deborah Chester and I have been childminding for over 20 years. I live in Langley Mill with my 23 year old daughter and pet cat. I am a Christian and I enjoy reading, gardening and playing the recorder. I offer a friendly and safe home from home environment. I am open Monday to Fridays between 8:45am and 3:15pm and accept all types of funding. I don't currently offer any school drop offs or pick ups.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 20 years and work alongside my assistant who has been with me for 11 years. We both have experience with new-born, toddler, preschool and school aged children. My home is set up to suit all ages, with quiet rooms for younger children to sleep and an easily accessible children's toilet/potty, a large play room and large secure outdoor area.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare, and my assistant has a NVQ level 4. I am able to offer funded places for babies from 9 months and 2, 3 and 4 year olds. I am a community childminder and can offer respite care through the social services. Some of the checks and training I have completed are-DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, Behaviour Management, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Attitudes and Behaviours.
My Availability
I am currently full, but will have 1 full time space available from April and 2 full times spaces from September.

Debbie and her team are exceptional. They have been looking after my 3 year old son Monday to Friday for over a year now whilst i have a busy full time job. He absolutely loves it and I can leave him there without any cares or worries, I know he's getting the best care there is.
From the caring nature, love and support these girls give to the fantastic "academic " side such as learning to write, sign language, singing, story times, paintings and creative learning and doing, it's just faultless.
Ethan has made so many friends and every morning wakes up saying, is it Debbie's today, I want to go to Debbie's!
Debbie has become like a second mum to Ethan, she's amazing. You will be extremely lucky and blessed to have your child looked after by such a fantastic team.
