I am currently looking for a new position to start in the next few months as the wonderful family I am currently providing care for (just under 3 years) is sadly moving to another city. I am a nurturing and caring care provider. I adore working with children and encouraging them to explore the world. I approach with lots of attention and focus on a child’s needs. I love supporting children in their play especially with their special interests. I have a clean DBS.
My Experience
For the last 3 years I have loved looking after 2 children primary aged. I have provided after school care with occasional weekends and days throughout school holidays. This has been general at home care including play, homework, making tea etc. I originally worked in a school providing after school care to 3-11s. From there I trained in supporting teaching and learning working with KS2 children. Over time my experience has worked through all ages, spending a few years working toddler age group and 2 years with one child from newborn - 2. I have been trained in first aid, response and awareness to safe sleeping and SIDS, have experience working with a range of needs from sensory to ASD.
