About Me
My name is Fiona Baughan and have a childminding service called Little Sparrows childcare. Which I started in Sept 2021.
I have 2 teenagers of my own and a husband of 20+ years. I made my home into a warm and calming environment for children to feel comfortable and settled in.
I offer a wide range of toys, activities, and days out.
I have a large garden that provides a mud kitchen, a large construction area, and a wonderful place to observe and look at nature.
I have 2 assistants that work for me that are both level 3 in childcare.
My Experience
I have worked in multiple childcare settings ranging from schools to private nurseries, since leaving college over 20 years ago, my last 2 jobs being in 2 local schools. Through my NNEB qualification, I also did multiple work experience placements at a range of places such as hospitals and schools. I am also pediatric first aid trained, level 2 food hygiene and level 3 safeguarding trained. As well as this, I have completed Level 1 and 2 in Forest School.
