About Me
Hi, my name is Charlotte an Ofsted registered childminder graded good in all levels. I ran the setting with my husband Paul who is equally fully qualified Ofsted childminder graded good in our last inspection. We operate from our 4-bed house near L&D Hospital.
We have been blessed with 5 wonderful children all fully grown and independent and 3 lovely grandchildren. We have over 30 years of parenting and a great deal of experience when it comes to children and teenage culture and behaviour. We are both fun-loving, tolerant and patient with children
Although we work from home, our whole living and dining room including the conservatory is converted to a learning and playing area to offer plenty of living space for your little ones. We also have an outdoor playing area for their daily exercise. A 2-course meal is provided daily for the children and includes daily fruit salads to start the day to keep them healthy and energised before we start our daily activities.
This is followed by daily freshly cooked lunch from the kitchen to the table complimented by delicious desserts.
Snacks are provided in the latter part of the day prior to going home.
Our vision is simply to work with you in parenting together.

My daughter has attended different settings, and I can say confidently that Mama Char is the best. When we first moved to Luton I was nervous about finding the right setting for my daughter which would offer me the flexibility I needed for my job. Mama Char and her team at Parents Heart gave me all that and more. The setting is warm and welcoming. The children get lots of opportunities to play outside, which is great as my daughter loves the outdoors. We have so many fond memories here.
The way she celebrates the every one of the children....they are stars to her.
As a first time Mum, she always has the best words of encouragement for me. My daughter attending Parents Heart has impacted my family in so many wonderful ways. I cannot recommend Mama Char and her team enough, they are indeed the best.

My son is 14 months and has been going to Mama Char for 6 months and I have seen great progress in his development. Mama Char is warming and provides a professional setting. I am throughly kept up to date with my son’s progress. The children have a good routine and I can my son has valued from going to Mama Char, would highly recommend.

I have sent my son to parents heart day care since he was 6 months old and he has loved every moment there!
The service is incredible, Charlotte and her team go above and beyond to help with the children’s developmental skills as well as encouraging them to be independent and sociable with others. She keeps me updated regularly with my sons progress and milestones and I have never felt dissatisfied with the service. My son absolutely adores Charlotte and I’m so thankful that I found her as I know my son is in safe and genuinely caring hands. She had a natural way with all of the children there and I couldn’t imagine my son going to any other child care provider! Keep doing what you do Mama Char we love you!

My husband and I were anxious at first about leaving our 11-month-old son in the hands of a total stranger. However, the narrative changed when we discovered Parents Heart Childcare (Mamachar). We were really impressed on our first visit to Parent Heart, and without a doubt, we knew our son would fit in properly. The setting and environment were excellent, and the tour around the house was amazing. The cleanliness is top-notch, child-friendly, beautiful garden with lots of activity tools and toys for children, well-organised timetable and routines for the kids. Mrs. Charlotte and Mr. Williams provided an exceptionally warm and friendly welcome; they demonstrated excellent and essential skills as perfect minders should and answered all questions accordingly, as well as reassuring us that our 1-year-old son would adjust and settle-in just in time. My son, now 20 months old, always looks forward to going to Mamachar and has tremendously developed both cognitively and socially. I would recommend Parents Heart Childcare to any parent who is anxious and looking for a trustworthy and professional childcare provider.

My son (15 month old) has been going to Parents heart for the past 3.5 months now and he’s totally loving and enjoying it. I first went to see the place and I was wowed when I walked in to see how clean and immaculate the house is, smells lovely too. I also drop my daughter (6 year old) there early for her to be dropped off at school and my daughter always tells me to leave her there even after school as that’s how much she loves it. They look after the kids and I go to work without even thinking about my kids which is how much I love it and they’re almost like family now. I also appreciate the flexibility they’ve given me as not all Childminders can offer that. If I could leave 10 starts I will. They are very professional and very lovely family, both husband and wife and also the assistant. This is a place to take your kids to if you want your children to learn alot and your mind at rest. I’m extremely happy and a trial will definately convince anyone. Welldone team
