About Me
I am a 34 year old Nanny and I come with a bundle of fun and positive energy for kids. I have a degree in Music, so I am very creative and musical which I love to use in my job as a Nanny. I am extremely loyal, compassionate, friendly and trustworthy - which all I believe is key in being a good Nanny. When working with a family/families I am always professional but I really like to become part of the family unit. This is so I can give the best version of myself possible, as Nannying can be a very personal job.
My Experience
I have three years experience teaching music and development classes for toddlers and babies. In that time also I was Nannying part time for a mixture of ages. After that, I then went on work full time as a Nanny (as I enjoyed it so much part time) and have been doing so ever since for over five years now.
I have experience with young babies, toddlers and primary aged kids. Sometimes looking after up to 3-4 kids of different ages.
On a personal level, I have many friends with babies/kids and I also grew up around my younger cousins and was always learning along the way with being around them.

My Qualifications
I have a child development qualification, I am Ofsted registered, I have an enhanced DBS, I have an up to date Paediatric first aid certificate, child sleep consultant qualification and I’ve just done a course in children’s mental health. I am always looking to do new courses and continue to up my knowledge and gain more experience in childcare.
Years ago, I worked in a care home which I learnt a lot about different medical conditions and how to react in an emergencies. I also have an A-Level in Health and Social Care.

- Nannying from £16.02 per hour (gross)
Fees are based on what my employee gross is but a full cost for employer will be a bit more.

Emily cared for our daughter from 12 months to 27 months as part of a nanny share in 2021/22. She is an extremely warm, capable, reliable and talented childcare professional. Both of my kids (my youngest whom she looked after, and also my older daughter who she sometimes babysat) are still extremely attached to her.
I felt that my children were very happy, safe, secure and loved when in Emily’s care. What’s more, she fitted in really well with the family and we all enjoyed the days when she was at our house. I would not hesitate to recommend Emily to another family!

Emily has been our shared nanny for 1 year and a half. Emily started looking after my little one since she was one.
Reliable, caring, active, playful, well spoken and with lots of ideas, but also very organised and consistent in how she looked after the children, my daughter thrived during her time with Emily.
My daughter has started nursery one year ago but she’s still very attached to Emily and has fond memories of their time together.

Emily cared for my two children, Teddy (17 m/o) solely and Florence (4 y/o) for wrap around school care. She is loving, caring and full of energy for the little ones.
She has really helped bring Teddy out of his shell and we’ve seen him become a confident little boy in such a short time, from Emily bringing him to all sorts of interactive and creative playgroups. She has a great network of other nannies, with children similar ages so Teddy has been able to practice and develop his social skills with his new pals.
Emily is always on time, an excellent communicator and very professional. She follows schedules and suggests improvements where needed, and even implemented a new sleeping plan for Teddy which has vastly improved his napping abilities!
Emily is also a great cook and makes a variety of delicious, nutritious meals for the kids every week, from vegetable chilli, falafel, salmon wellington and fish stews!
I can’t recommend her highly enough!
