About Me
Hi! I'm Jade, a 23-year-old who lives in Hertfordshire.
I enjoy all aspects of helping and caring for others. I cared for children and young people for 2+ years whilst working in a residential care home for children with Epilepsy and complex needs. I loved doing this as it helped me gain experience looking after children in their day-to-day life. I helped get them ready for the day, including personal care, preparing meals, taking them to school, completing learning tasks and ensuring they are prepared for independent life. when the day comes.
I have recently finished working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools. My main year group was nursery & reception, all the way through to year 4. Whilst fulfilling this job role I helped gain trusting relationships with my pupils and parents. I loved this job so much as I enjoy helping children work to achieve their best potential.
Unfortunately, I do not drive, yet!
My Experience
I have great experience in special education and caring for young people with complex needs such as epilepsy, autism and ADHD. I also have great experience with mainstream children and young people.
My Qualifications
I have completed my care certificate, nvq qualification in childcare and safeguarding children will be completed soon.
I am first aid trained.
