About Me
Hello, my name is Lauren and I live in Berkhamsted. I have a daughter, she is five years old and is in reception at school. My family home is where I live with my fiance, daughter, my mum and our lovely two doggies. I offer a home from home environment and believe the children should feel happy and safe in order to thrive. I have a full time space available from August 2025
My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder who has been registered since 2022. In July 2024 I had my first graded inspection and received a Good, I am super proud of this. I have worked in Health and Social care since 2008, and after having my daughter I decided to change my path from caring for the elderly living with dementia and other health needs to looking after children. I offer a home from home environment where I want the children I care for to feel safe and happy. I work with the most amazing families and I am happy to provide references upon request, as well as my Ofsted inspection report.
My Qualifications
I have a level three qualification in childcare and I also have a level five in leadership and management in health and social care. I have recently completed the EYPD cohort 4 which covers, communication and language, mathematics and personal, social and emotional development in children. I learnt a lot from this course and thoroughly Enjoyed it
My Availability
My availability will begin July 2025 as I will be saying good bye to those starting school. I work Monday to Thursday 8:30-17:30
