I have worked in education for the past 8 years in a primary school in central London. I have specialist expertise and experience of working with children with additional needs (Autism, Asperger's and behavioural issues). I am enthusiastic about children's learning and am able to adapt my teaching style to suit an individual child's learning ability and development.

I am currently working full time in a primary school and have been at the school for eight years. I am committed to my own continual professional development (CPD) and keep up to date by attending regular course and updates. These include, British Sign language, Colourful Semantics, Phonics and Autism training.

Serena has been tutoring my daughter for over 18 months. She understands my daughters needs and challenges and has built a good rapport with her.
Serena is very supportive and continuously evaluates what works for my daughter who has made great progress.

I've only had Serena for a couple of lessons with my homeschooled child. She's very versatile and confident in her approach of tutoring young minds. Highly recommended.
