My Requirements

Our daughter B starts school in September and we are starting to think about what care she will require in the school holidays. She is 4 years old, autistic and pre-verbal, and so we can’t rely on holiday camps and clubs, so it feels like a nanny is probably our best option. Our daughter is a very affectionate, happy girl who bonds with people quickly.

The biggest ask is for the summer holidays in 2025 – yes, I’m aware that’s a year away, but I wanted to start the hunt now as I thought there might be someone who works exclusively in the holidays (perhaps whose day job is in a pre-school or school) who could potentially help out for some days during half terms and Christmas/Easter holidays. Even after school care could be an option. We’d love the option for B to get to know you.

We are based in Tring and would be looking for someone with a car who could take her on day trips and who would be able to think of stimulating activities to do with her during the days we are at work. Ideally with SEN experience, but if not, with a passion for learning about SEN children - we could even arrange time with her private speech therapist to go through activities that will help her development.
