About Me
Hi I'm Annmarie ( also known as Ree Ree) I am a Ofsted registered childminder and owner of Mother Goose childminding services. I'm based in the Shard end/ Castle Bromwich area I live here with my son who is also DBS registered and our pet rabbit Lottie.
I have lived in my home for the past 11 years and have recently had part of my house converted to a creative room and another room into a calm sensory room. In these rooms I have a wide range of educational materials that cover all seven areas of the EYFS along side toys to fit all needs and developmental stages.
Here at Mother Goose my aim is to create a environment that is happy, safe and stimulating. I will ensure that each child is given the opportunity to develop to their best potential. Parents can follow along the learning journey as I provide a learning journal opportunities to attend play and stays and full support during my working hours. My lovey assistant helps me four days a week to make sure all children's needs are being met and another set of caring hands to make special memories with all our little ducklings.
I would love you to join the mother goose family for lots of fun making memories and maybe a little bit ( a lot ) of mess.
My Experience
I have been childminding 3 years and I have had 17 years of experience in early years in nursery settings. I also have three children of my own and a grandchild.
During my time working in nurseries I have come across all type of families and children, over time I have learnt ways to effectively communicate and support their needs no matter how small or big.

I am available 8am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
Including school holidays

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Per hour - £5 (reference for extra hours)
Morning- 8:00- 12:30pm £27 includes breakfast & lunch
Afternoon- 12:30- 17:30 £27 includes afternoon snack (can save a lunch if requested)
Full day - 8:00- 17:00 £45 includes breakfast lunch and snacks
School drop off- minimum £5 includes breakfast
School pick up - minimum £10 includes afternoon snack
I will apply a deduction of 50p per hour for siblings the reduction will be base off the child who is attending the least hours

My daughter has been going to Ann’s for a few months now and she absolutely loves it there!
Ann has been amazing and helped my little girl settle in so quickly. I was a little worried for my daughter as due to Covid this was her third move to a new childcare setting. However as soon as we met Ann my daughter took to her straight away and I knew this was the right place for my daughter.
Ann offers a very loving, home from home, playful and educational environment. My daughter and I absolutely love the fact that Ann does not mind to get a little messy. Messy play is one of my daughters favourite things to do and l love hearing about all the fun she has had taking part in the many exciting activities. They also go out on regular outings to different groups (stay and play and music group), soft plays, the library, parks and little walks. I love picking my daughter up and hearing her tell me all about her exciting day. Even if she doesn’t want to leave at times 😆.(This just shows me how happy and content she is).
Ann provides a variety of nutritious foods for my daughter. I know my daughter can be a little fussy with food, however she is always trying new things here. Even things she refuses at home.
I will be forever grateful for how accommodating and flexible Ann has been for us. Always goes out her way to do what is best for my daughter. She actually genuinely loves and cares for the children she looks after. She definitely provides a service that is above and beyond! Ann make you feel apart of her family. She even held a Mother’s Day tea for us which was absolutely amazing.
Ann is currently helping my daughter to prepare and transition into school. Ann will liaise with me to see how I would like my daughter to progress and which things I’d like her to learn. They are currently working on phonics and writing her name. I’m so grateful Ann is invested in my child’s education as well as her care and wellbeing.
My daughter has developed a great bond with Ann, she even thinks of her as an extra nanny!
When your child reacts like this you just know the person looking after them is doing an amazing job!

My son has flourished since joining mother goose, and Ann has played a big part in his development. She helped him over come feeding issues and to see the progress he has made is amazing. Ann is kind, patient and caring and puts so much effort in to making the children's day educational, fun and explorative. Their day is full of fun and activities, the daily logs and pictures are so lovely so i can see how much fun he is having. He is provided with healthy/nutritious food daily,I am so glad i found Ann 🥰

Thank you so much Hannah for your lovely kind words. I was quite apprehensive having to take care of a baby as one of my first childminding children. However once me and your adorable little boy got to know each other it was a pleasure taking care of him. I am just as excited to share his achievements during the day as much as I know you enjoy the feed back. Cant wait to continue watching him develop.
As a first time mom who needed to go back to work I was very nervous about childcare and who to trust. Ann made this process so warming and easy and filled me with confidence. My little girl loves to go to mother goose I'm always receiving little pictures and comments throughout the day this reassures me that she is happy learning and safe. Since joining Luna has attended play and stay with Ann and has warmed to playing with other children. The support and advice I have had from Ann is amazing! So happy I made this choice.

Caiya I am so happy you made this choice too. I feel we have a excellent parent partnership, I hope you feel listened to and I support your choices where your daughter is concerned. For a few months your daughter was my only child but I attended stay and plays with her to help develop her social interaction. She as come on leaps and bounds and I am excited to share her journey to nursery and hold your hand as well as hers.
