About Me

I am a skilled, qualified, enthusiastic and sensitive educator and caregiver looking for a lovely family that needs support in the education and daily care of their children. Highly competent, with extensive, international experience of working in nursery, school and home settings to deliver individualised teaching to target and develop each child’s potential. Passionate about children’s all-round development, confidence and well-being. An experienced sole carer, who is able to work closely with families as well as with other childcare professionals.

My Experience

Nanny and Super Nanny - children’s primary care, including helping with homework, providing play opportunities, musical and artistic experiences, and ensuring that their care needs were fully met; providing guidance to parents on their children’s educational development and when requested.

I love working with newborns. In the first year of life, the brain produces synapses more quickly than in any other period of life and, up to the age of 3, forms one thousand billion neural connections. Safely deciding what to do to stimulate and help the baby to grow up healthy, happy, and willing to learn I believe is one of my biggest responsibilities as a Nanny.

Toddlers are just as passionate. When I have to take care of a child at that age, I don't need to go to the gym anymore, because after they learn to take their first steps, they don't stop running all the time and everywhere. And when they learn to use the toilet and they feel the lightness of moving without diapers, discover how curious the world around them is. And when they discover that they can speak, we can have delicious long conversations. This phase, where movement and coordination are developed, is a lot of fun, but also very dangerous. That's when accidents and the first injuries are bound to happen and I need to be 1,000% connected. Because of this, it takes a lot of courage to take responsibility for taking care of a toddler. I'm glad I'm willing and brave because I know that their level of activity will strengthen their body and develop their coordination. This is very very important to them to take the next steps with joy and security, after all just after this phase these cute ones will enter the preschool years.

Well, work with preschoolers is simply fantastic! I have to be super connected to realize some tremendous intellectual, social, and emotional changes as they appear so that I can provide in the best possible way the appropriate situations for their best development. The thrill of taking them to school every day and hearing them tell you everything they liked and disliked is indescribable. Awakening in them a taste for reading, the importance of caprice in homework, and the first social rules fills me with pride when I see them growing up being good people.

On the other hand, the challenge of being able to win the affection and respect of older children and even teenagers is irresistible! That age is ideal for awakening responsibility and the pleasure of doing things for everyone's well-being, such as organizing the house, washing clothes, or going to the market altogether. At this time, the range of activities becomes infinite after school: after helping them with their homework, we can playing with various things (my repertoire and my creativity are great). In good weather, we can go out to some park or playground or prepare together dinner for the whole family. It’s even possible that I teach them music, to play some musical instrument - flute, guitar or piano. Did it saw? I have plenty of good ideas! If you have a good nanny, she can offer a great after-school childcare service herself.

Finally, the most important thing for me is to feel part of the family and to have the opportunity to see the children become generous, happy, and fulfilled adults, regardless of the age they started calling me Nanny.
