About Me
Hello my name is Marthese. I have just moved to Iver and I am a mum to a 5 year old daughter, who keeps me on my toes, when she is not at school, but it's the best thing in the world.
Currently I am from an admin background, but previous to this I have experience as a support worker for 7 years, nursery experience, and working with children and young people with additional needs for 3 years. I have now taken the decision to change my career slightly. I enjoy working with children of all ages, helping them to learn and develop their skills. I am willing to travel for work, as long as its within a reasonable distance.
I have a full clean driving licence, and access to my own car, with a car seat in.
I have a DBS covering both Children and Adults.
I am a reliable and committed individual, who is hard working, patient and caring. I enjoy cooking and involving my daughter when it comes to baking. We love to go on walks and exploring new places. I can offer a range of indoor and outdoor activities from; arts and crafts, messy play, educational activities, trips out, baby + toddler groups, singing and dancing and much more. As well as basic household tasks. I can provide care within your home setting or mine.
My Experience
I have many years of experience working as a support worker, for 4 of those years I have been employed by Surrey County Council working as a support worker for children and young people within their own homes, supporting them and providing their parents with respite. I have decided to change my career pathway slightly and become a nanny, as I love working with children.
I have plenty of SEN experience from children to adults, and working with children and young people who have a disability or medical conditions; including autism, epilepsy, non-verbals, low or no mobility.
Alongside working, I studied a degree in Psychology Child Development, which I completed last June (2020) and achieved a 2:1.
I have personal experience with raising my daughter and I have had the opportunity of a short period of paid employment in nurseries via agency work, as well as helping out a childminder many years ago.

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 9am to 2:30pm (or longer hours can be arranged and agreed upon) as well as the occasional Saturday.
