I’ve had my son in the care of Joanne for the last 3 years and can’t recommend her enough. Joanne has been amazing with looking after my son and taking care of him like he’s her own. From the moment I first visited her setting I had a sense of comfortability because she was so welcoming and I could already tell my son would enjoy the environment he would be in. Any question or needs I had she ensured to help me out and get the answers I required. I view her as more than a child minder but a friend and sister. She is certainly passionate about the work she does and the children she looks after as all she ever wants is the best for them.
If you require a safe environment that has a homely vibe and filled with love, she is the person for you.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I am absolutely thrilled with the care my two children receive from Ms Aby like we fondly call her, She is incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, happy, and engaged. From the moment we first met her, it was clear that she genuinely loves working with kids, and her patience and nurturing nature shine through in everything she does.
She is hands-on in every aspect of their care, whether it's helping them with crafts, reading stories, or engaging in imaginative play. My kids are always excited to go to her home, and I know they are in great hands. She's also very communicative, keeping me updated throughout the day on how they’re doing and any milestones or fun activities they’ve participated in.
What I really appreciate is her ability to balance structure with flexibility, making sure my children have a routine while still allowing room for creativity and spontaneity. Her professionalism and genuine love for children make her an absolute gem, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found someone so trustworthy to care for my little ones. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful childminder!

A Million Stars for Joanne.

I have known Joanne for more than two years and my overall experience with her is exceptionally amazing. She always updates me on my kids activities and my kids loves being around her home. Joanne is very helpful and supportive. I don’t have to worry when my kids are with Joanne because I know they are well taken care of and looked after.

Untrustworthy

I had a terrible experience with Jonah’s childcare service. I needed emergency care for my kids over the coming weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 01 and 02/02/2025), and after agreeing to the price, I was completely let down. Jonne refused to provide the address I needed, making it impossible for me to arrange anything. Communication was non-existent, and whenever I tried to reach out, Jonah either avoided me or made excuses. She even asked for my wife’s phone number, which was unnecessary since I am the primary caregiver. It’s extremely unprofessional to commit to providing a service and then completely fail to follow through. I’m very disappointed and would not trust Joanne with my children in the future. I can provide the WhatsApp chat history and call recording for proof.

The process of signing up a child starts with a visit to the setting 1st. ( which you have not done)

So it is wrong to say there was a commitment of childcare. There is no agreement and no commitment of childcare without meeting the family at my setting, registration and payment.

You stated on the phone that your wife will visit our setting since you were travelling, and it would make sense to communicate with her and arrange time to visit as you were travelling. ( still awaiting a response to arrange the visit and meet the children)

The ongoing process to register your children is very achievable this week.

To ensure that the children are comfortable and happy, it is essential for your children to meet the childminder and visit the setting before the actual start date of childcare. I am sure you will agree with me on this one.

Weekends : There is a limited time for childcare enquiries, hence the gap in communication. l do apologise if l was not forthcoming quick enough for you.

As you said, you were travelling , if you wife contacted me, the process would have started today to arrange visit and register your children if both parties were happy to go ahead.

It is untrue to jump to the assumption that you do not trust me with your children that l have never met before ( please see the review of the parents that l have met their children)

The due process in registering children for childcare can not be bypassed. But it can be fast tracked if both parties are
amicable and provide the information required

Miss Abi has been very kind and supportive not only for my kids but for all the family . She has been flexible with time , was able to accommodate our changing doctors schedules . She was able to take the childcare responsibility on Christmas time when I was absolutely disparates for urgent child care.
Since then until now the kids are spending very nice time with her , lots of fun , activities and care . She was able to suggest and book different sport activities for my son . And lots of free soft play session.
Was very Helpful with the toilet training.
She is very professional and giving updates written and with pictures of the daily activities.
Her son is so kind and lovely with the kids , my son is saying he wants to be a good boy like him .
Highly recommend. 100 stars.

Highly recommend

My DS started when he was 11 months and he just settled. He is very happy when he is there. Joanne provides a home from home experience,safe, cozy& very clean. Currently following a curriculum to help achieve some millstones, happy with the progress. There is a park close by. Highly recommend

Joanne has been very supportive and helpful ever since I entrusted my 4 years old child who has special needs with her. She comes highly recommended without any reservation whatsoever.
