About Me
Hi, my name is Vittorina or Vicky for short. I absolutely love working with children and have been working in the field for the past 10 years. I’ve held positions such as a nursery practitioner to room leader and part time sports coach to a full time nanny. For sometime I was a cover agency member and worked in schools and nurseries. I’m very passionate about what I do and like to work closely with families so that we can grow and achieve together! I’m qualified level 2 in childcare and have some behavioural and leadership certificates too. I’m on the update service and have first aid knowledge and experience. I’m a very happy and bubbly person who is flexible and reliable. I love to sing and role play as well as coming up with fun ways to help children learn and grow. I adore animals, nature and I’m also a big superhero fan! In my free time, I like to visit beautiful places, quirky restaurants and travel. I love to learn new things and always ready to take on a new challenge. I’m a big kid at heart but also have great knowledge and understanding of child development and a strong sense of what a child needs to help them get to the next step.
My Experience
I’ve worked full time in 4 different nurseries and I’ve been a room leader in 2 of those settings. I went on to work with an agency and delivered childcare in a wide range of Bright Horizon Nurseries and schools. I’m also a qualified sports coach and have experienced going to schools and leading practical sessions. Most recently, I have taken on the role of a Nanny and have experienced working with more than one family at a time.
I’m currently working with a family of 4 children, (differing in age and one who is partially deaf) I do the school pick up, prepare meals and implement evening routines. In the holidays I plan and provide fun and educational activities and play dates in and out of the house.
