Hello! My name is Hanna, and I’m a 21-year-old student currently based in London until October, before returning to complete my degree. I have a varied background in childcare and truly enjoy working with children of all ages.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience through babysitting, volunteering, and supporting families in different settings. I’m responsible, friendly, and always aim to create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for the children I look after.
Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, or keeping to a bedtime routine, I approach every task with care and enthusiasm. I'm also happy to assist with light household duties if needed.
My Experience
I have two siblings with special educational needs, which has given me valuable insight and experience in supporting children with additional needs.
My childcare experience is varied and international. I’ve worked with a French family with two children aged 3 and 7, where I communicated in French daily. I later worked with another family caring for children aged between 8 and 11. My most recent UK-based family had a 3-year-old, and I regularly take on occasional babysitting jobs for children ranging from 5 months to 11 years.
In addition to this, I spent six months in France working as a French teacher, which was a fantastic and fun experience. Last year, I lived in Canada for four months, caring for a family with four children aged 2, 4, 7, and 8. A busy but incredibly rewarding role.
These experiences have taught me how to adapt quickly, stay calm under pressure, and build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
My Qualifications
I have completed my A Levels and am currently a third-year university student at the University of Nottingham. I have been DBS checked and also hold an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC)
My Availability
At the moment, I'm working as an exam invigilator during the exam season, which runs until the end of June. Because of this, I’m completely free for before- and after-school care on most weekdays.
From July onwards, I’ll be fully available during the school day as well, making me flexible for a wider range of hours. I’m also available on weekends throughout.
