My Requirements

Hours of work:
Saturday or Sunday – flexible hours to be mutually agreed. – either 6 hours per week. (term time)
School holidays – flexible hours to be mutually agreed (6 hours min (mid-week) more to be offered if PA can accommodate)
Location: Preston (Fulwood)

We are looking for someone who is reliable, a good communicator to become a Personal Assistant (PA) for our son Jude Johnson.

As a PA you will support Jude (age 10) who has Autism Spectrum Disorder with going out into the community taking him on walks, to the park, the beach, play centre or trampoline clubs, swimming.
If successful you’ll need to provide an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by us.
Rate of pay £13.50 per hour with 45p per mile (whilst caring for Jude)

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of task which enables/assists Jude who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
Jude is 10 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder non verbal. Jude loves anything that involves being active, things like walking, parks, beaches, swimming.
Person we are looking for:
• Honest, Reliable, punctual, ability to build a good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, and have a good sense of humour.
• Need to understand children with Autism
