About Me
My name is Melanie Mazrreku and I am very happy to welcome you to my house. I live with my husband and two children who are 5 and 8. They both attend the local school.
When leaving school I studied childcare and completed my NVQ level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education. I worked in various schools as a teaching assistant and loved it.
I decided to have a break though after 4 years and worked in central London as a PA.
For the past 8 years I have been a stay at home mum to raise my 2 girls. Now they are older I have decided to become a childminder.
Being a mum myself, I understand how emotional it can be trying to find the right person to look after your children. Having come from a teaching assistant background I have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage to teach them and help them to develop and grow into happy confident children, in a safe and caring environment.
I love watching children grow and flourish, being quite creative myself I love to find ways to help them learn and nurture them.
My Experience
I have always wanted to work with children and after attending college to complete my NVQ level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education I worked in Primary Schools as a teaching assistant. I also have two of my own children.
My Qualifications
I completed Childcare and Education at college, NVQ level 2 and 3. I have also attended my pre childminding training, safeguarding and paediatric first aid. I am always keen to develop professionally and will complete courses online and through my local authority training centre so that I am always able to help the children achieve their full potential.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7 per hour.
If you would like me to look after your child (with prior arrangement) after 6pm then the fee will be £7 per hour

My son has been with Mel for 2 years now and loves going to her. Mel has created a development plan for his learning and constantly does age appropriate activities that i wouldn’t think of. She has an amazing space for the children to play and does regular outings with the children too so my son is confident getting the bus, going to playgroups and loves the library. Mel’s made my son’s transition to childcare really easy and knowing he is happy and safe, made it easier for me to go back to work.

Mel is a very kind, patient and compassionate childcare provider. Her setting is homely, loving, encouraging, nurturing and fun. My son absolutely loved spending time with Mel, he learned so much and I never had to worry as always knew he was being so well looked after and cared for. They attend various different activities and groups meaning that the children get to interact with other kids and that their days are exciting and have a good variety. I have absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Mel to any parents to care for their children.

Our son has been with Mel for over a year now and we couldn’t have been happier! Mel provides amazing care and he is always extremely happy to go. I have no doubt that he is truly well looked after and cared for. There are always lots of activities and daily visits to children centres so the kids get to interact with others. I would highly recommend Mel.
