Qualified teacher, experienced childminder, Ofsted registered my name is Gaelle and I live close to top of Manor Park with my husband, 3 children (18,16,12) and friendly family dog. I offer a home from home
environment with a rich and varied learning experience, adapting activities to the individual needs of each child and following EYFS. The children in my setting have lots of fun outdoors in my large garden, park next door, woods, visits to the library, playgym, Birdworld ( I have a pass) as well as in my spacious dedicated playroom. I also offer initiation to French language ( songs) if interested.
My Experience
Previous to having my children , I worked as a language teacher in secondary schools/ translator/ private tutor.
I became a childminder in 2008.

My daughter, age 3, has been with Gaelle full time since September. Gaelle is an amazing childminder. She has a lovely manner with all the children in her care. I'm sent daily photo's of what my daughter has been doing and am always impressed at the range of activities and outings they do, with clear links to the EYFS. Gaelle knows her mindees very well, and as such activities are tailored to their interests and stages of development. As a result my daughter has a fabulous time each day, and loves going. Regular trips to Manor Park across the road, lots of trips further afield (bird world, other parks in the local area, music and dance sessions etc, Library etc all included in hourly rate). Gaelle has clear policies, is organised with admin / invoicing, easy to communicate with. Flexible with individual child's needs regarding naps, etc or on the odd occasion I have needed to change a pick up time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gaelle. All the children that Gaelle looks after are well behaved and happy, as a result of the amazing childminder she is.
