Hi I’m Emily! I’m 29 and live in Bexhill, East Sussex. I have worked in childcare since 2014 and am a mummy to my gorgeous 2 year-old son. I have worked in a variety of nurseries; with my current position working in a pre-school room but previously I was the baby-room lead elsewhere. I have also been a live-in nanny for 2 families. I currently work during the week but am available Friday evenings and weekends, with the potential to help on Wednesday’s although I will have my own little one with me on this day. I have my own car and clean driving license, a Masters in Early Years Education, I am a Paediatric First Aider, and have a DBS.
My Experience
Before going on maternity leave, I was working Monday to Friday, as the baby-room lead at an outstanding nursery setting in Ashburnham. I was in charge of the 0-2 year olds, although I have over 9 years of experience working with a range of young children of a variety of ages; both in busy nursery environments and as a live-in nanny. I am now working in the pre-school room at a private nursery in Bexhill and I also have had experience working closely with children with SEN.
My Qualifications
As mentioned, I have a Master’s degree in Early Years Education. My first degree being in Event Management. I have completed Child Protection and Safeguarding training, alongside renewing my First Aid.
