About Me
Hello, my names Selina I'm a fully Ofsted registered childminder. I am also a fully qualified Early Years/Primary Teacher and Nursery Nurse and I have worked in the Child Care industry for 18 years. I have two children of my own and a separate play area I use for childminding. If you are looking for the highest standard of care and education for your child look no further.
I can also provide an information pack upon request. Any questions feel free to ask.
My Experience
I have worked in many roles including, a Midwife Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse, Learning Mentor and Teacher.
I have completed a degree in Advanced Study of Early Years and Education Studies. I also hold a postgraduate qualification in Primary Teaching with a Foundation Stage/Early Years focus.
I feel all these past experiences will allow me to create a stimulating, caring and fun learning environment.
I like to be active and have two children myself. We attend many playgroups, local events and visit interesting places!
My Qualifications
CACHE level 2 child care and education
CAHCE level 3 child care and education
BA (hons) 2:1 advanced study of early years and education studies
PGCE (QTS) primary education (teaching)
Paediatric first aid (renewed every 3years)
I also hold numerous training certficates for professional development courses such as making story sacks, food hygiene, safeguarding and outdoor ranger training plus many more.
My Availability
Opening hours 8am-5.30pm, Monday - Thursday. If you require different hours to cater for your needs, please ask! I can also offer school drop offs/pick ups from Hudson Primary School in Maghull.

I can offer term time only places and a sibling discount. My after school care is £4 per hour.
