About Me
Hello, my name is Emma and I have been married to Barny for 19 years, we have 3 children aged 25, 19 and 11 years old.
Having used childcare providers, I understand that trusting the care of your child to someone else is one of the biggest decisions you will make.
I offer a warm and welcoming child centered environment, with a dedicated playroom that has direct access into our enclosed garden.
Prior to childminding I have nursed within the NHS for over 21 years.
I have a passion for helping others and I strive to make a difference to children’s lives.
I know from experience that children learn best when in a safe and supportive environment. I provide a safe and happy setting that enables our little people to achieve there learning potential.
My school catchments are Alderman Pounder and Eskdale Junior School
My Experience
We opened our doors in September 2021 - I’m loving every second of it, we have over 25 years of parenting experience.
Previously I have nursed for the NHS for over 21 years, I’m kind, caring and very nurturing.

Emma has been so caring, warm, open and and friendly with my daughter. Her setting is calm, warm and is on a lovely quiet estate as well. She is extremely professional with everything in place to ensure you know you are going to receive the best care for your child. Emma is also so welcoming and clearly cares so much! My daughter has an excellent time with Emma and I could not recommend her highly enough! Thanks Emma :)

My son has been with Emma for a few months now. He gets so excited when he arrives and doesn't get sad when Mummy leaves. Emma and her whole family are brilliant, its defiantly a home from home setting which I love and so much fun is had.

Emma is lovely and her home is the perfect place for children. My little boy had his first day and loved it and I’m more than confident he will continue to love his days with Emma.

We feel lucky to have found Emma😊 There's a real family atmosphere about the house. Our boy likes to go there. He looks forward to great playing room each morning.
