Hello there! My name is Vashna. I was born and raised in Italy, I am 27 years old, and I recently graduated from the University of Aberdeen. I am an experienced nanny, a job I did first for friends and relatives and then as a real paid job. I am very patient in my relationships with children and I am able to establish relationships of mutual trust and sympathy. My peculiar characteristics are flexibility, punctuality in schedules and the ability to organize the day precisely, respecting the needs of children. My Experience
I had several experiences as nanny/babysitter. I started very young on the behalf of my relatives. I was fourteen and, as they were often away for work, during the school holidays and weekends I took care of my cousin who was 6 months old at the time, until her first 3 years. The duties included bathing her, preparing her meals, keeping her busy with various activities, changing diapers, putting her to sleep. I worked as a teacher-helper on a voluntary basis at a primary school in my hometown where I helped children between 6 and 13 years with their homework and helped the teachers during the children’s leisure hours. Back in Italy, I worked as a nanny for a family with three children aged 10, 5 and 2. It was an overnight job so I had to stay with them for both the evening and the night as the parents were working. My duties were to prepare dinner, carry out evening activities with them such as drawing, building models etc. Then, I would bathe them and put them in pyjamas before bedtime story. During the night, I had to got up to change diapers and to prepare hot milk for the little one. In Aberdeen I have been working for different families (10+), both consistently and occasionally, and for which I provided childcare services for children from 4 months old to 12 years old. Some of the duties performed included changing nappies, feeding, cooking, helping with homework, pick up and drop off to and from school, outdoor activities. Finally, I have a personal experience with newborn babies, toddlers and preschoolers as I am a parent as well of two boys of 6 and 2 years old.

Vashna is amazing, very professional and lovely person. Vashna looking after my baby girl since she's finished one year old from day one I didn't had any afraids or worries. Vashna was Amazing!.Vashna is professional in the service she offers. She was very kind punctual and dow-to-earth. my daughter felt very comfortable with her from day 1 and I had no complaints with her service. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Vashna whenever I'd need her help in the future. For me It's been extremely difficult to find a nanny or childminder around Rosemount, especially with no family to fall back on for an emergency and therefore Vashna was truly God sent and I'm forever grateful to have come across her.

Vashna is absolutely fantastic! I've worked with multiple sitters in the past, but Vashna stands out as the best by far. Not only is she incredibly patient and nurturing with my daughter, but her impeccable hygiene standards and politeness truly set her apart. My daughter feels incredibly at ease in her care. I will definitely be hiring her again in the future!

Vashna was flexible and really good with my kids. Took them to parks and offered advise on fun activities for kids. Kept us regularly informed of any issues and generally nice 😊

I contacted Vashna last minute to step in when my baby sitter cancelled on me. She looked after my two boys (my older son is autistic) and I was very pleased with her service. Came back and met the boys playing. I'll definitely rebook her again... I highly recommend 🙂
