About Me
My name is Rose, I own “Rosebuds”. I run this from my home within Exmouth, Devon. I am an Ofsted registered, fully insured childminder, I’m also paediatric first aid trained as well as DBS. I share my home with my little girl and my partner. I hold my level 3 certificate in childcare and have lots of experience working within schools and nurseries.I am currently working part time in a school still so only offering three days a week however in the next couple of months i will be full time in childminding.
I have a play unit the children can help themselves to daily, I will always have free flow to the garden where there will be a mud kitchen and water play, as well as some play equipment. I want to offer a home from home environment, so the children feel safe, secure and comfortable. The children will enjoy messy play, sensory activities, arts and crafts and baking. My setting is child led and I will plan around their interests its predominantly for EYFS children (0-5).
We live in such a beautiful area, so I want to take full advantage of it! Exploring the beach, nature walks and visiting places like Bicton Park, World of County life and more! I believe children learn best through the outdoors and what’s naturally around them. I’m fully insured to take children in my car for outings.
Learning should be full of fun, smiles, giggles and questions, learning through play and getting the chance to explore the world around them! I take inspiration from Hygge and Montessori as well as loving forest school!

My Experience
I hold my level 3 childcare certificate and iv worked in schools/preschools and nursery for 8 years. I have experience in running breakfast and after school clubs and leading a preschool room. I also have 14 niece and nephews and my own little girl this has given me a lot of experiences as well.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma for the early years practitioner (Early years educator) , paediatric first aid trained, food hygiene, prevent, safeguarding, child behavior and many more
My Availability
I work Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:00am - 5:00pm for the time being! (Can offer abit later if discussed) i will soon be Monday-Thursday
I close for 2 weeks at Christmas, bank holidays and three weeks throughout the year
