My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Sara!
I am an active, friendly, and compassionate individual with a genuine passion for working with children of all ages. Being the middle child in a family of three siblings had taught me the importance of patience, organisation, and attentiveness in creating a nurturing environment. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and quick to adapt to changing situations, ensuring that the children in my care receive the highest level of attention and support.
I believe that a genuine passion for childcare is essential, and I strive to bring a warm, nurturing approach to every family I work with. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, staying active and being out in nature. I am fluent in both English and Polish, which allows me to communicate effectively with diverse families. I am excited to find a welcoming, lively family with whom I can build a strong and supportive relationship.
My Experience
I have extensive experience in childcare, both within my family and my local community, caring for children aged 2-6. I love engaging kids in fun, educational activities while also giving them the freedom to play independently when they choose.
Beyond that, I’ve worked in a primary school, supporting children aged 5-6, as well as in a specialised setting with children with special educational needs (SEN), ranging from 5 to 16 years old. In these roles, I assisted with classroom activities, ensured the children’s safety, and helped create a positive, supportive learning environment.
I also have hands-on experience with newborns, including feeding and diaper changes. More recently, I worked as a nanny for nearly three years, caring for two children—one of whom I’ve looked after since birth. Additionally, I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, having cared for two children with ASD.
Alongside my childcare roles, I worked as a school passenger assistant, making sure children were safe and comfortable during their daily transport to and from school. My priority was always their well-being, ensuring they were securely strapped in and properly cared for throughout the journey.
My Qualifications
I have 8 GCSE's with grades between A-C
I have studied Health and Social Care Level 3 Extended Diploma which specifically focused on the health and social care sector, I completed the diploma with the grade Distinction*Distinction*Distinction (D*D*D)
My Availability
I would say my availability is quite flexible and I am also able to alter my availability on some occasions based on the parents' needs if necessary.
