About Me

Welcome to Sunshine and Rainbows Childminding, a place where children can thrive in a home-like environment. My name is Kate, and I have been a dedicated Primary School Teacher for the past 14 years. With a wealth of experience in education, I have decided to embark on a new journey as an Ofsted registered childminder based in Tettenhall.

As a parent myself, I understand the significance of finding the perfect childminder for your little ones. It can be a daunting task to entrust your most precious treasures to someone new. However, after experiencing the exceptional care and opportunities provided by two amazing childminders for my own sons, I was inspired to create a nurturing and stimulating space for children in our local community.

At Sunshine and Rainbows Childminding, I am committed to offering children a creative and enjoyable start to their early years. By tailoring activities to their individual interests, we will foster a love for learning through play both within our dedicated, spacious playroom and during our exciting outings. From parks and soft-play centres to playgroups and community interactions, every day will be filled with adventure and discovery.

Our opening hours from 7.30am to 5pm, all year round (excluding my pre-arranged holidays), provide flexibility and convenience for working families. While we observe bank holidays, we are open to discussing occasional exceptions. Additionally, I offer St Jude's Primary School drop-offs and pick-ups for added convenience (WV6 0DT).
