Hi, I’m Mel, and I consider myself to be understanding, kind, and fun. I have two crazy, lovable little brothers aged 9 and 10 years old, who I have spent thousands of hours looking after, and I would love to share this experience with your needs and accommodate your flexibility. I have a BSc Psychology degree. I am professional and have previously worked with tutoring children. I do private tuition under my own name - Mel’s Tuition. I also worked as a child supervisor at My STS Wonderland.
My Experience
I have tutored children between the ages of 4 and 14 with the company Exploring Learning and have 100 hours of babysitting experience. I also worked as a child supervisor at My STS and have a BSc in Psychology!
My Qualifications
I have an A* in child development. For the child development course, I had to observe children and understand their behaviour in development. Additionally, I have previously tutored children between the ages of 4 and 14, using the company Explore Learning. I have experience with private tuition on my own accord - Mel’s Tuition.
My Availability
I am fully flexible with the exception of overnight stays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
From £25 an hour
If there is more than one child, a £2 per hour extra hour charge will apply, depending on the requirements. I charge £20 an hour minimum for tuition as I spend countless hours outside tuition sessions making my own resources and lesson planning tailored to each child and the parent(s).
