Hi! My name is jade Thorpe and I’m an ofsted registered childminder. I have worked in childcare since leaving school and I really enjoy my job! I live with my husband and my three children. Twins of 19 years and my youngest, a 8 year old. We also have 2 cats.
My setting is a warm, friendly and stimulating environment, and encourages children to become happy and confident.
I have a garden for the children to play in, I provide a wide range of activities at home and also visit parks, Library and play centres in the community. My Ofsted rating is 'good'
I also offer all government funding.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare since leaving school. I worked in a nursery setting where I gained my qualifications, before having my own children, and have been a childminder since 2011.
My Qualifications
I gained my NVQ level 2 & 3 in early years and education, then went on to complete all the courses required when registering with Ofsted. This included 'Induction for Home-based Practitioners', 'Introduction to Safeguarding children' and my 'paediactric first aid' course.
I continue to take training when relevant course's become available. This has included things like messy play, speech and language, and further safeguarding matters.

My Availability
My working hours are from 8 in the morning until 5.30 in the evening, but i can be flexible so please ask : ) This is Tuesday through to Friday.
