About Me
Hi there! I live with my beautiful, cheeky 6 year old Son- Henri, our surname is french which falls on Papa’s side, I was born in France but moved to England with my parents & brother when I was 7.
Our house is English speaking, with a little French, I do speak French with Papa weekly, & I like to encourage basic teaching of French to little ones.
Our home is in a quiet close in Copthorne, we spend most of our time outdoors, all year through.
I’ve always had a love for outdoor spaces so I encourage as much learning in the natural environment as possible.
I like to offer a mix of seasonal, set themed set ups & child led learning.
I have a love for anything Arty & am extremely hands on when it comes to messy play. I like to encourage everyone to take part using varied options from paint, pencils, colouring pens, charcoal, stamps, anything crafty.
Our house is non-smoking, pet free, safe & secure.
We are an extremely loving, friendly family & offer a warming home from home environment, both indoors & outdoors.
My Experience
I have been Childminding since August 2021, prior to this I was an experienced swim teacher, working with very little ones & with older children & young adults that had learning difficulties.
I also worked in community settings around Crawley with young adults that had varied learning difficulties.
I then had my baby Henri & cared for my young nephew since he was a baby.
Typical days out:-

* Nature walks around lots of different green spaces of Crawley & surrounding areas.
* World of fishes
* Supermarket shopping for educational nutrition, cooking & baking
Typical days in:-
Garden play such as water play, mud kitchen, potion making, ride on toys, football & an activity shed offering various opportunities such as role play, dress up, building blocks, tool station, kitchen, shop, Art & all types of messy play.

Going forwards, I will continue to attend regular childcare workshops, conferences, & relevant courses to increase my knowledge & experience in EYFS.
My Availability
Term times- I work Mondays to Wednesdays from 7.30am-5.30pm & am happy to mind children aged 0-8 years of age.
I may be able to offer school drop off & pick ups to Milton Mount school only, some pre school pickups, dependant on timings.
I work School holidays & inset days (unless specifically advised otherwise).

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I supply varied nutritious meals to all children throughout their day with me, the cost of food is included within the £6.50 per hour.
Our meal routines are to eat together & a la table - for every meal.
I encourage the children to get their bowls, plates & cutlery & set their places at the table ready for their meal.
This naturally teaches them independence, improves their social skills as well as much more.
I offer the government funded free childcare hours from 3 years old as well as the tax free childcare voucher scheme.
