With many years of experience nannying and working in the Care Sector I enjoy supporting families and making people's lives easier. Nurturing children of all ages and abilities while allowing parents to work is extremely rewarding. Whether playing games inside & outside, supervising homework or keeping homes clean and tidy I always strive to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere to reduce stress for busy families.
My Experience
Although many of my jobs have been with pre-school children raising 3 children of our own has given me the skills to support and motivate children of all ages. In my career I have looked after 26 children. I have also been a Mother's Help/Nanny for children aged 4yrs. & 1yr. Caring for the children, keeping them stimulated and active while conscientiously tidying, cleaning and the keeping the family washing up to date.
At present I am looking after 2 children, aged 4 &1/2yrs. and 3yrs. This has now become a part-time position.
My Qualifications
SSNEB (Scottish Nursery Nurse Examination Board)
Holds PVGs for Children and Adults, with Certificates in First Aid, Coping in an Emergency, Hygiene and Manual Handling.
My Availability
I am available for a morning and early afternoon positions as I am currently providing after school care until January.
Family time is very important to me and the families I have worked with, so I will strive to be flexible out with set hours if necessary, so I am happy to occasionally work late and babysit. Other day times can also be considered.
