About Me
Hi my name is Abbie, I am 33 years old and I am married with 3 children. 15, 13 and 6years old we also have 2 very friendly British bulldogs called Lenny and Lola who love children. I am an ofsted registered childminder with 15 years experience. I provide home from home care in a fun loving environment. My aim is for every child to learn and grow to reach there full potential. I follow the Early years foundation stage curriculum and plan activities to meet the children's next steps. I use the Tapestry App so parents can see the children's observations and how they are progressing. We will enjoy painting, messy play, baking, outdoor play, reading stories, small world models and lots more including trips to local parks and the library. I have a spacious light and bright play room and a secure enclosed outdoor play area. I provide breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks and can cater for allergies too. I can offer before and after school Care as well as during the day. I pick up from Alfreton Nursery School and Copthorne Infant School. As a parent myself I know how hard it can be to leave your child which is why I welcome children to a settling in visit.
My Experience
As a mum of 3 children I have the experience of being a hands on mum. I have also been childminding for 15 years. I have cared for children from 0 - 15 years old. I have experience with working with children with autism and down syndrome.
